Hello and welcome to another installment of my weekly Vlogs, which document my progress and journey through the world of business and entrepreneurship!
This week involved spending a couple of days at the Entrepreneurial Spark hatchery, where I basically got used to working in a new environment and had my first experience of our fortnightly event evenings!
I also managed to escape the office, both in Leeds and at home, and head into York for a cheeky look at some of the new shops and retail displays (for inspiration... that's my argument anyway!) The highlight was definitely the Bettys Easter display, which is now up in it's full chocolate wonderland glory!
In business terms, much of my progress this week has come down to beginning to collect validation data around my latest idea. If you want to find out more, check out my recent post on Validation and why it's so so important!
Finally, if you have a spare 5 minutes and want to lend a massive helping hand! I would be extremely grateful if you could take my very quick and very simple ethical products survey!
Hope you enjoy the video, do let me know your thoughts in the comments.
honest, I've been putting off writing it as I know it's going to ruffle a few feathers and generally provoke a difficult analysis of our industry.
The blogosphere I refer to in this deconstruction is a mostly female space. (There are many expressions of gender on the internet obviously, but the industry I experience is predominantly created by people who identify as women).
Again this is a Sunday Summation covering the past two weeks, as I must admit this whole series slightly slipped my mind last weekend... oops.
As you may be aware, back in June Des and I took part in The Clearing Project - a post-apocalyptic vision of the future set in the grounds of Compton Verney, a Stately home turned Art Gallery in rural Warwickshire.
